Pioneering role in climate action

Bosch is becoming carbon neutral

Bosch plays a pioneering role in climate action — out of conviction and out of a sense of responsibility for society. In 2020, we want to make emissions in our direct sphere of influence (scope 1 and 2) climate-neutral worldwide. By 2030, we then want to achieve a further improvement in terms of climate protection on the basis of the quality of the measures applied.

In expanding our climate action further, we are also focussing on our indirect emissions — here again, we have an ambitious target. We have thus set ourselves climate action targets across the entire value chain — and have had these confirmed externally by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Our target vision

Bosch's target vision

In line with its longstanding commitment but with a greater focus on social challenges, Bosch has set itself clear sustainability targets. Our “New Dimensions — Sustainability 2025” target vision focuses on six megatrends. With respect to all these issues, we focus on those aspects where we can contribute the most in terms of protecting the environment and people.
